WELCOME to the new Technicolor Youth Girls Website

Saturday 20th May 2006: MCGFL One-day Football Festival

A disappointing tournament for the girls as they come 5th and miss advancing to the semi-finals due to an inferior goal difference. Some consolation can be taken from the fact that the girls held Tournament winners, Hampstead, to a goalless draw - making Technicolor the only team not to be beaten by them.

Full report and pictures coming soon!

Saturday 29th/Sunday 30th April 2006: SCI Tournament, Hastings

A weekend away in sunny(!) Hastings for the girls where they played 6 matches.
Although the team didn't win the tournament the girls still come away with a trophy as they win the Tournaments FairPlay Award.

Full report and pictures coming soon!

Wednesday 26th April 2006: Hanwell Town 1 Technicolor Girls 3

A midweek match and an evening kick-off plus a change of venue (to Technicolors Ground) for this re-arranged match against Hanwell. The girls played a great game coming out the easy winners with Karla P and Hannah(2) on the score sheet.

This also proved to be the last league game of the season for the team as Brunswick have also pulled out of the league. The game, due to be played on 30th April has been awarded to Technicolor.

These two results mean that the team finish the season in a very respectable 3rd Place.
Congratulations and Well Done to the Girls!

Sunday 9th April 2006: Cassiobury Rangers vs Technicolor Girls

Match Postponed. Cassiobury have pulled out of league.

Sunday 26th March 2006: Watford Youth Sports 2 Technicolor Girls 4

A good win for the girls and Hannah gets the seasons first hat-trick. This result puts Technicolor into 4th place in the league table and a win or even a draw on Wednesday against Hanwell will move them above Ruislip into 3rd place.

Sunday 19th March 2006: Technicolor Girls 2 Parkfield U12 4

The girls were unlucky not to get something from this match with the unbeaten league leaders. After going down 2:0 in the first half, goals from Hannah and Karla in the last minute of the half saw them go into the break level. Unfortunately Technicolor were unable to convert their chances in the second half whereas Parkfield did and came away with a flattering 4:2 win.

Sunday 12th March 2006: Hanwell Town vs Technicolor Girls

Match postponed due to Hanwells pitch being waterlogged.

Sunday 5th March 2006: Technicolor Girls 0 Headstone Manor 0.

A hard fought goal-less draw against Headstone Manor means that the girls remain undefeated in three games and undefeated at home in Phase 2 of the 2005/06 season.

This is a great result and shows how much the girls are improving as Headstone beat Technicolor 9:1 in the first game of the season....
